OEM HID question

Trying to replace the HIDs that were supposed to come with my car but never made it...the place I was talking to had a few questions I couldn't answer, so I was looking for some help. Here's what they needed to know:

1) From what I have been finding online it looks like your OEM headlight harness is 9007. Is this correct?
2) What kind of bulbs do your OEM HID headlights use?
Thanks guys!

If you have a non-HID equipped EVO, it will be a 9006 (most of the HID equipped headlights are ds2, pretty sure if that is for USDM not JDM)...If you mean what kind, the brand is Phillips; if you meant what Kelvin, 4300K...

OK. Yeah, they're HID headlights with the wiring and everything, I just need to buy the ballasts and bulbs

Would this work then? It should plug into the original wiring harness, shouldn't it?

No, you need OEM style, not retrofit style ballasts, Matsu****a or similar, just make sure they are OEM and not hacked with different connectors.

Then any D2S bulb will work, PM me if you need OEM Osram ones cheap...as in two for the price of one cheap.

So why will this not work? I need to get 2 Matsu****a ballasts and Osram bulbs? Is that what you're saying? Damn I didn't think this would be this complicated LOL
