i think the 9 bumper is abolutely gorgeous compared to the 8
simple cuz the 8 bumper is so curvy and... well, feminine haha
but links im not bashin u at all i understand plenty ppl may enjoy the looks of the 8 bumper over the 9
jus the same reason some morons decide to get an STi over an evo
its all personal preferance but yes my money now is being aimed at that 9 bumper
now to check out them aforementioned links
but still if someone can bring into light wat is required to fit the 9 bumper on an 8

Then theres like over $250+ worth of grills and supports/attachments for those grills...and a new Oil cooler guide.
I had the FUll IX conversion..or so I thought but sold it.Turns out there was still a couple things I was missing and @ that point I was over $1000 and that was my dealer-to-dealer pricing.
May get another one only because the IX looks good even w/o a lip.Just hate how it hides the intercooler SO much.
I'm getting sick of my Do-Luck replica and would rather have just the IX w/o a lip.

You even have to freaking rivet new brackets into place. What a pain in the ***.
i guess ill jus pass up on that
i aint AT ALL close to bein even a novice DIY-er
ill jus save up the $$$ and get it repainted
unless of course now someone can bring up ways to order a new stock 8 bumper
or even if someone wants to sell theirs
since most likely that wud be cheaper than repainting

guys,
complete evo ix front bumper (including grill mesh, emblems and misc bolts/screws) from the dealership will cost you over $1700 if you add them part by part. I only supply the jdm pre-painted front bumper, lower lip and lower ic pipe cover. all the misc parts can be purchased thru South Coast Mitsubishi for way less than your local dealerships can offer you. South Coast Mitsubishi is offering OEM parts at 30% off MSRP.
Thanks

That is why I had to go to my local mitsu parts so many times because i had to look up each individual bracket, grill, clip, screws, to make sure i was getting the right part.
