ok the color is red, it just depends on light and camera, in person in daylight the car gives off a gold glow, at night its like a Marlboro red, flourescents and mid day or cloudy makes it orange... u have to see it in person... the color shifts a ton on it... and i dont know why u think my silver car is so great, its just a stock bumper with bolt ons... and a blue pearl added into the clear of the car... thats very mild compared to the other one...

originally i wanted to do Graphite grey with a heavy green pearl and i had a guy that is one of my good friends dad that is the painter recommend not doing a car with this much curves n aftermarket in a dark color... He said the brighter color would bring out the body lines so much better and the color is like an attention getter, bad for cops yes.. but i wont be driving it but weekends and track.. i know its very showy but i am not scared to track it, i screw it up, get it fixed...

You answered your own question.
In case you haven't noticed, now a days people purchase cars they like the look of and slightly modify them to look better, ie: lowered ride height, wheels, lips. People generally don't completely change the look of the car, like you did with your rice rocket.

although I can't see much constructive criticism in the statement "rice" =)
to each their own, but I like the silver a lot more as well.
