The car is getting near complete, the wigens clamps came in last week for ic piping to be made. the kevlar fuel lines we just ordered... driveshafts just ordered.. so i just gotta wait i guess.. i have til april to get it done the way i see it.. How are you planning on swapping a gt42r and a gt35r? There's quite a bit more involved than just swapping the turbos.
If you are serious about the gt40, talk to Geoff at Full Race, I've been spec'ing out a gt40r kit with him for the last few weeks. It works really well with the twin scroll t4 housing, you would need a custom manifold. Or use the Shearer divided manifold. With the 2.0L use the .95 a/r housing, if you stoke it use the 1.06a/r. This is from Geoff's recommendations by the way.
Your never going to convince me your serious enough about racing to warrant a Varis kit, or that that's what your intention was when you put this car together. But, if you want a gt40, and want it to work well, go with the setup's I mentioned above.

Evo 8 whoa, the car is looking great! I like the turbo mani matt made. Good luck with the car bro. I read through most of this thread, forget the rice comments the car in person is very hot I got to see it when i dropped off and picked up my car.
As for the turbo I have a feeling it will work out nicely, as there is someone else on the forums running the same turbo and running some fast times recently.
