Question Evo IX FQ-360 Console

Can anybody tell me where I can obtain the double-DIN and HVAC unit/knobs from the Evo IX FQ-360 console short of flying to the UK and thieving one for myself?

I would greatly appreciate any help on this matter. Thanks in advance!

- Grey

ps. I apologize if this subject has already been covered. I did in fact search before posting this but perhaps my search criteria wasn't adequate enough.

I'm also interested, though it'll probably cost an arm and a leg.

good luck with your search

that looks cheap :)

just kidding - but I got a custom pod made with Defi gauges and it lokks hella better than the stock FQ360 unit... see my post (click here - sorry for the crappy pics)

If you want it to look good, I would really look into getting a custom one made or perhaps try orbital double din???

The Orbital Prestige 2-DIN Conversion is fantastic... I agree. But the OEM HVAC unit on the FQ-360 is something that I'm really after. The units we have here in the US look cheap and out of place to me (IMO). The FQ version makes the interior as a whole much more appealing.

I 100% agree the HVAC controls look very cheap on our cars. Those controls would be
a huge improvement.

From what ive read on other threads the uk and jdm spec HVAC unit is all electronic while ours in the us is controled by cables. so if this is true, which im jsut about positive it is, the conversion is more or less impossible unless you want to switch over every single component for the cars system.

Yeah, after looking at the rear of the HVAC unit I saw that it is in fact cable controlled. That's too bad... I would be happy if I could just get those knobs or ones that are similar.
