That statement was buggin me so I looked on APR's site... I don't see anything about it being for show use only. In fact they really state the opposite.. "Our Front Wind Splitters are not just add on cosmetic pieces."

It's about the same height as stock or maybe half an inch taller. It is like 2 inches wider though. Definitely not for sleepers.

i like the splitter and the rims the wing looks a little ricey in my opinion,i just took my wing off about 10 minutes ago and i love the way the car looks now.nice car though bro how much was the splitter?

car looks good...watch out thought cause those splitters will destroy your bumper if you arent careful...I know of a few guys here in az who have had them and removed them. if you car is lowered be prepared!

I didn't have to drill any holes for the wing. The mounts are made by APR specifically for the Evo so they use the factory holes.

 

i like the look alot... needless to say thats my fav after market wing... as far as the splitter i was looking into getting one too and i don't think they're for show only... they are probably very effective, so much so that at high speeds if its not mounted properly it pulls off ur bumper... just fasten it properly and maybe look into fastening it to some part of the frame if u can and it will do its job right... gratz my friend!! oh and ps the photo shop of what it will look like is great ur deff heading the right direction with ur car!!
