Thanks! I'll report back after each event (9/23 & 10/1). And the 'not having to return the flap if it does come off' is cool - that way I wouldn't have to approach some angry driver who had it lodged like an arrow in some part of either him or his ride, and ask for it back.

Seriously, I'm assuming just normal prepping of the wing's application area (clean and strip wax) is all that's required.

yea just wipe down the area and slap it on I recommend you pull the 3M tape a little at a time while you press down and line it up at the back of the wing. Make sure it sits flush at the back of the wing.

Did you feel the difference when you installed your VG? When you bought the Evo 9 did it come with the car

And you don't have something on your car that others would find no use for? It all boils down to taste and needs. On the track this will definitely make a difference. Others like the look. It isn't difficult to understand.

Got mine today. I was a bit nervous when I picked it up at the post office (you have to sign for the package in person) because the box had some creases in it, but the Gurney flap was in perfect condition. I'll be installing it tomorrow. Thanks!
