For anyone that plays guitar, think of AMS to the automotive world as PRS(disregarding price) to the guitar world. Beautiful craftsmanship, top notch performance.
as far as the billet aluminum IM goes, I dont know how they would machine the runner edges to be round inside the manifold like it should be. A billet one probably wony yield the performance gains a sheet metal one would simply because it would be really hard to shape the inside ideally.

My machine mills in a straight line and the hand work that'll go into it, well , very time consuming and costly.
Thanks for the info on the price....
Funny how you get beautiful CAD drawings (w/ measurements to ten-thousandths-lol) at all orientations and completely no knowledge on the machining aspect.

As this whole project was based on me actually having a car to work on today....it appears that now I will not be able to start tonight. I'll have the car on thursday, I'll be moving my brother into school on friday. looks like sat is the day. Which works out better cuz now I have a full day to do everything. bummer still

Sorry bro...got you mixed up with "BretTheJet" for a second. Not even sure why. My mind is still in drunkin mode from vacation. I barely remember my way home from work
Are you the guy who is friends with Kevin "inphluence" on here? If so, I'm sure I'll meet you soon. I keep talking to him about getting together for a group drive.
