When i had the wing off i sanded on the bottom of the side where no one could see and it was cf under the paint. Just a little tiny area to see if was cf or abs. The cf will flex on the sides its not really hard, its stiff, but if you press it, it will flex.

 

i have an 03 and u can actually see the carbon fiber weave through the paint. its cool.

 

If it's full CF the inner pillar on the wing will be CF as well. You're an 04 so you got a full CF wing unless the dealers screwed you! Hope that helps

Thats true i sanded a little bit of the existing paint with 2000 grit to smooth the urethane into the existing clear and i got in real close and could see the cf weave thru the primer and all, pretty crazy
