I cant see any shop doing that, its a huge liability. IF you all can get the JDM rear bumpers how come no one has tried to get a JDM re bar(re-enforcement bar)????? Seems to me they should be sold together anyhoo.

theres no such thing as a jdm rear crash beam. the part that EVERYONE was raving on about was just the jdm license plate bracket beam

Right, instead of modifying the beam, they just remove it...how is that better? If they didn't make you sign a limit of liability waiver for not having a crash beam, why would they for modifying the beam per customer's request?
Anyway...I do plan on having a shop modify my rear beam to fit the jdm bumper, but i doubt the styrofoam piece will fit the jdm bumper in any decent way, and methinks that is the crucial piece for protecting your bumper from low speed collisions (5-10mph)...I can't say whether the actual beam protects rear passengers; that would be worth it if so...

My appologizies if someone already in the other thousand threads about the JDM bumper but without the rear crash bar and foam support how well does the bumper sit on the car? is there any noticeable sagging or does it move easily when touched or when washing. The reason I ask is because I plan on buying one as soon as I find a vendor other then GruppeS and would hate to get it and have problems with it.
Thanks for any info in advance!
