Acura TSX HID projector into IX GSR [pics]

So I picked up my new IX GSR thursday. I had some spare parts lying around so I retrofitted an Acura TSX HID projector in place of the stock halogen projector.

What do you guys think?
I don't think this is a sign of good things. This car is supposed to be my daily drive and I modded it within 24 hours.

I also painted the housing white just to see what it'd look like

seems good. do you have any pictures at night of your new beam on the wall?

how long did this take you?

you could've just gotten HID kit...not much glare off our halogen projectors.

I started 8PM friday night and finished now. No sleep

I used the TSX cause it's considered one of the best HID projectors out there.
And I happened to have a set that I hadn't gotten rid of yet.

I'll take pics tonight in the dark.

that looks nice. you had an extra set of tsx projectors? how much do those run for? lol

i'm probably going to get a HID kit...but if i have time and money to retrofit...that'll be nice

Let me ask you, did your lights come with hid's or no? Looks nice I did that in my SI back in the day with bmw 5 series projectors.

I didn't get HID's from the factory...which is why I did this. I wasn't gonna pay 2k extra for the SE package and only get HID's and some red stitching.

My IS300 when it was working. I took it apart to build the motor and for more upgrades. Currently under the knife...the broke dull knife. It'll get done after winter.
