what do these pieces look like? - and where can i find them?

 

My guess is that stereo is just a factory one..

 

Is it me or is that console a double din? I've heard the australian models comming with the factory double din set up. I've been waiting for my orbital double din kit to come in, this would be a good alternate way to take for the double din set up....

 

anyone know if those Montero HVAC will work or what? What would have to be done in order for the JDM A/C controls to work?

 

bump...i been reading that its way too much trouble and hella expensive to swap the hvac to electronic. but what if i'm just after the look of it? I'm sure we could just get knobs like that and get it to fit in our current hvac setup...am i wrong here?

 

if they US evo 9 had the Yaw Control and this Climate control, i wouldnt even bother thinking about the X

 

Is there no easy way to just switch the knobs and faceplate? I think we all want it simply because it looks far better than our econobox controls...

 

i got the jdm interior version as well & back here its fitted with the kenwood double din & for the wagon its fitted with the touch screen type double din (kenwood as well)

I think the montero is electrical, the usdm is mechanical so it probably wont work if that is the case.

 

thats exactly what i'm talking about. i just want the look of it. theres gotta be something out there...

 

i drive an 05 ssl, man i would love to get more luxury just with auto climate control. not a huge deal now, but a worth investment down the road for a DD. but i would expect way more than $1000 to convert. oem parts arent cheap, jdm or euro parts most likely arent cheap either. especially sensors and the brain to control the temp. may be wrong though since i havent done it myself. curious to know
