I can get it but it wont work w/ usdm Evolutions. Our hvac controls are vaccuum based. Overseas its a completely different setup. But if you didn't care about your hvac controls you can definately put them in you car. It will just be functionless

I know from expiriance in the car business that anything can be ordered through the dealership. I don't see why you couldnt have your dealership order it from Mitsu Japan. I once imported parts for my sti from japan. If the shipping cost is worth it go for it. Also, if you do figure it out count me in on a group buy which would help lower shipping. Good Luck!

if you expect a conversion like that to work you better be prepared to spend easily over $1000.. and that is a conservative guess.
you'll need the unit itself, various temperature-sensing themostats & actuators, wire harnesses, most likely a different HVAC compressor, an OEM radio relocation kit, JDM wiring diagram, USDM wiring diagram, and of course a highly-specialized/experienced installer to handle the absolute nightmare of a splicing/custom-wiring job that this is going to take.
oh, and you'll also need an OEM mitsubishi 2-DIN bezel with or without and optional OEM mitsubishi 2-DIN overlay.

Looks the same to me except for the HVAC controls and skinnier seats.
IMO the orbital kit is by far the best set-up there is concerning relocation of the climate controls. Definitly OEM quality or better. Do a search and check it out with a double DIN touch screen installed. Its the perfect set-up, really adds some class to the evo interior. As soon as I pay of some bills and get my taxes back next year it will be in my car.
