03 Apex Silver Evo newly wingless

I swapped out trunklids today on my 03 to go wingless. I see a lot of you trying to trade people your winged lid for a non-winged. I picked mine up in a local Jyard for $150 and had a buddy spray it. It was already silver, but it had a coulple deep scratches on top. It was off a Lancer ES.

The more i see it, the more I like it. Used to hate it, now I consider doing it on my IX. It seems sorta like a hassle though because you have to plug holes and such.

Thanks guys. IMO it looks much better in person because the trunk sits so much higher than the front of the car.

I guess you can't just grab a Lancer lid if you have a IX?

Nothing is wrong with ghetto stuff, other than the fact that it is ghetto. I just never understood why people go through the trouble of trying to make rubber look like it has a film of grease on it. And I don't want any slippery **** anwhere near my tires, I like grip.

But thanks again for the compliments.

The tire shine finshes off a clean car. To me, a car doesnt look clean unless it has tire shine on it. And I can't understand how you would think you could loose grip because of it, you know you only put it on the side wall, right?

But you cars looks nice, how about some pics from the rear to see the trunk.

It was a joke, I just don't like how it looks.

All the pics I had of the rear had too much glare, I went out at a ****ty time. I had to photoshop the hell out of those to make them look decent. I can't take a good pic to save my life. Oh well...
