evo VIII to evo IX
hey, a while ago i got in a little accedent and need to replace my front bumper. i have an 05 evo VIII and i want to put on the evo IX bumper. the repair shop was trying to tell me that this would cost me 3 grand because i need new "headlights" which i know is ludacris so i just need a list of every single piece and bracket that i would need to convert my evo VIII front into an evo IX front. if someone who has done this before could give me a list i would like that.

i have a 9 bumper on mine, bolts right up, i paid about 800.00 shipped but i cant remember which company on here had it. o yea it came painted but make sure you get the lip. Some companys on here dont include the lip. None of them come with the grills, those are seperate and are about 220.00 from mitsu.

We have sold a few IX front bumpers and I can tell you this, for VIII to convert to IX, you would need the following (the very basic conversion w/ a lil DIY).
1) IX front bumper
2) IX front bumper lower lip
3) IX lower bumper cover (small cover that allows you to reach to lower ic elbow)
4) IX front bumper grill and retainer
5) Mitsubishi Tri-star emblem.
Complete kit including every single bolts, screws, and misc pieces will cost you on-ward around $1700 or so from Mitsubishi dealer.
Now the DIY, the VIII front bumper's lower grills and such can be fitted onto IX front bumper (lower portion only).
