Powerwasher FTW?

Anyone use a powerwasher? Lots less water, pretty quick also. Pretty much like a touchless car wash.

Guessing SSR GT7's. Power washers are great and speed things up, just don't get too close to the paint with them...

Carefullness is the key. Powerwashers can even take chunks out of the tires if you get too close. Definately a handy tool when washing in cold weather

A power washer is not bad if done right, but IMO foam gun FTW

I have that exact same power washer. It works quite well. It isn't really powerful enough to strip paint (possibly could if you have stone chip and are like an inch away from the surface but you pretty much deserve it at that point). Definitely does a good job removing dirt.

If you go across the IC with it be sure to spray directly head on into it or you could bend fins.

Yeah I wasn't "all up on it" next to the paint. I know how this could possibly damage already chipped paint.

I only used this as my "rinse cycle". I did a little washing with a lamb mitt and mild car washing soap pre-powerwasher.

Your paint looks good in the pics. Keep it that way! Forcing that much water and a questionable soapy mixture on your car can't be good for the factory sub-par Mitsu paint.

Normal hand wash, Clay bar, polish, and then wax. Make a weekend of it. Dirt won't have a chance to cling to your paint. It will literally wipe right off.

I picked up my new '06 last weekend and found so many tiny spots that only a clay bar would take out. Now I have a good polish and wax on the paint. I can pretty much use Meguiars Quick Detailer and a microfiber to wash my car if I had to.

umm yep.

Remember I wasn't killing my car with this thing.

I've read tons online see autopia.org...if you want some good links.. and know how to wash my car, I just wanted to use it and try it out.

Originally it was bought to clean house stuff.

anyways.

I've had my TB Evo since 03. I have washed it with a pressure washer everytime and it still looks great. I wash it on average once a week. As long as you know how to use a pressure washer it is fine.

I don't use the soap tank on it.
