Yeah Bryan, you definately made me very happy. Props to you and the guys at Renner Mitsu.
Two days later, and I still have the plastic on the rear seats, pedals, and I still have the cardboard protecting the carpets . I'm even being meticulous getting in and out of the car to not induce cracking in the leather bolsters .
God I'm a nut.

Congrats on the new car! Glad to hear that you were able to get it unmolested. When I bought mine, I made the dealer write it into the sales contact. How are you going to go about detailing it, product-wise?
I did a quick FK1 decontamination treatment on mine, a chemical cleaning with AIO, a couple of layers of JW sealant, and I topped with FK1's 1000P. I'll be storing it once the salt hits the ground, but come Spring I'll do a full detail.

That's a VERY SIMILAR process to what I'll be doing.
It has some light marring from taking off the plastic and cars always have some fallout on them, so I'm claybarring with a Sonus Green(mild) claybar and then a final polish with Menzerna FPII and Green/Blue polishing pads from Excel Detail.com. Then, I'll be doing JW Prime (pretty much AIO), some JW Acrylic Jet, and topping with Zymol Concours.
You must be a detailer too .

Very cool. It started as a hobby for me when I was 13 as well, just took care of my parents cars and my cousin's Celica often. Eventually, my neighbors asked if I would do it to their cars for some money, and with time I learned new techniques and developed and detailing product collection of about 5K worth; now detailing allows me to afford and Evo .
Fall and winter suck though; being a student and trying to detail tons of cars on the weekends leaves no free time.

Mitch thank you for letting me borrow the Porter Cable. You have a beautiful home and a garage to die for.
Now go get a new damn battery for that MDX.
