I am aware that the route im going either to pull or do the voltex kit is expensive. I just want to minimize the cost even if it is a few hundred bucks...

Okay let me clarify. When I meant pull- Basically I was expecting to stretch the rear fenders and adding/welding more metal to make the whole rear fenders wider... Also painting it after everythings done... currently the shop I got a quote from to do this is going to cost about 5-6K just for thsi alone.

Voltex kit- If i go this route I will shave the rear fenders and do everything necessary to put on the fenders. so yes I will cut or shave off the rears... kinda like what cal dide with his car (speedelement)... The only thing is I think the voltex rears look bad on a silver car...

blue by you evo- yeah the garage hrs front fenders cost me about 1k+ just to do them... horrible fitment and painting and all...

Dave- I need to stretch my rear fenders pretty wide cus the wheels stick out of the fenders a lot. you can see pics on the first post...

that looks great! to be honest u dont drive a civic and dont take the cheap way because in the end it will always cost you more. like brendan said once u go with the voltex there is no going back. the only thing i wonder with the voltex is once installed how the hell u get the rear bumper off? can anyway answer that? i saw a pic in the time attack evo's that i think was the valdi evo? it had pulled rear fenders.

the voltex rear fenders technically should be called fender flares. IIRC, from reading the japanese voltex instructions, it uses 2-3 secure mounting points to attach onto the stock fenders. Then use 3M adhesive along inner side of the fenders (flares).

So if i want to take off my rear bumper, I would need to remove the rear fenders and rear diffuser before gaining access to rear bumper. yeah its PITA.

No cracking ...EASILY fits 265 35 18s....i could prolly run 295s on these wheels and clear ....18X9.5s....btw we pulled it a lot as you can see and read in this post where this guy swears i have a wide body....lol BTW just grab and yank the front fenders...all ya gotta do there.... 10 and 2 oclock....and yank Its all even and smooth ....pics kinda make it look like it tapers front to back smaller to wider but it doesn't

After pulling the fenders how do you get the bumper to mount in the factory location if using an oem bumper?

What's the approximate cost for such a pull? Are we talking like $500 or over a $1000?

FYI if you pull with less of a tilt on the roller it won't crease the fender like above (or at all in my case cause we got a bit lucky).

why not just get the voltex overfenders and have them molded into the body to get rid of that pasted on look?
