I can name a bunch of people who tape the front ends of there trucks with blue painters tape when going to shows. Take the tape off when they get to the show, retape it before they head back home.

i drove my Lancer to the HIN Phoenix show in Oct 2005, holy moses, From Ogden Utah. Thats the last time I ever do that without loading my car onto the trailer and hauling it. Tape thing is a great idea though, Im really really lazy, and I'd rather just prep the car when I get there anyway, instead of cleaning it twice?

Where is it that you are going to that has bugs that take hours to remove and has roads full of dump trucks carrying gravel?? Sounds like you need to find a new route.

I was going across from the East coast of florida to the west coast Venice Florida.

75 or Alligator alley always has lots of those love bugs and Dump trucks with gravel because they are building lots of new housing developments. It takes me like half of an hour to just clean the bugs off of the wind shield.

I know alot of people that do that on long trips....

Did you do this for a trip or for around town driving?

If it was for a trip then I don't understand why people are laughing at you, but if you did that for your daily driving then.... yea.... WTF?

yea dude, ONLY on long trips, definitely not a permanent Fix! wish it would be a bit smoother with less bumps and not overlay of each other...but it's a close match from far, good for trips

It's your ride, do whatever pleases you. I'm not feeling it, but that's probably why I have scratches/nicks on my ride. The TL is bling bling.
