it finishes in just about the same spot as the stock exhaust - the stock JDM and US exhausts are identical in length. The exhaust fits the VII-IX

There is no US length version offered - all the Fuji catbacks are officially spec'd for JDM bumpers, but fit just fine on US cars (we have sold tons over the past few years)

The Legalis, Mines, and any other JDM exhaust wil all finish in roughly the same spot as well

I have a IX and I've got the RM-O1A installed, great exhaust, very quiet no droning whatsoever. I've been looking at the Legalis-R, thinking of maybe selling the one I've got now for the latter one.

Which is louder, the RM-01A or Legalis-R? Are they true 3"?

RM01A is really quiet exhaust but the legalis-r is pretty loud but not loud as any HKS exhausts or JIC exhausts.

It's a one piece exhaust, very very light. Lighter than the stock unit.

Very nice finish, the welds are very clean.

How does the sound compare to the stock IX exhaust? I like the sound of the stock exhaust, and wouldn't want anything quieter. My "search" research" appears to show that the RM-01A is deeper and maybe a little bit louder -- is this true?

Thanks,
RedAustinIX

That's right. It has a deeper sound and just a little louder, it's a great
exhaust and I recommend it to anyone that doesn't want to attract attention to the police.

By the way RedAustinIX, I lived in Austin for 16 years before I moved to L.A. 6 years ago.

Z1, greekven --

Thanks for the helpful confirmation. Looks like it's an RM-01A for me!

greekven -- I moved from L.A. to Austin! I miss L.A., but speed limits are much less of an issue here

Legalis R and RM01A are supposed to be the same volume at idle, legalis is supposed to be 3db quieter at full boar at the cost of 2hp. There is a picture comparison on the Fujitsubo web site somewhere.
