Rota P45R Wheel thread!!

so what type of modifications would be needed to fit these to a evo with stock suspension? would the rear still need rolling and will i still need spacers in the front? after speaking with a friend of mine he said dont throw spacers on your car they suck and after hitting 60 and above the car shakes horribly which im not trying to have. anyone with any info on the stock suspension set with these wheels let me know whats up.

^^You definitley need to run spacers in the front with these. It is not a matter of offset or tire size, it is just a matter of how the wheel is made and how thick the material is at the spokes. Many people have said you dont need any fender mods with 245s so other than the recommended 8mm spacers in front you should be good to go on stock suspension. Although it would probably look like a roller skate.

Here's an update........
Picking her up from the dealer after a world record month and a half head gasket replacement......
After I installed a radio, speakers and cleaned her up today....
Here's the specs.......
Suspension:
Tein S-Tech springs 2.0F - 1.0R
Wheels:
Rota P45R 18 x 9.5 et30mm
Tires:
255-35-18
Front wheels have an 8mm spacer to clear for the Brembos.
Rear wheels fit fine but under hard cornering slight rubbing. I'm getting the rear fenders rolled next week.

Front - No, but slight rubbing with passengers at full lock when turning.
Rear - No, but once you start to really push it hard in a corner or u have passengers, Yes

I seriously love these wheels. Seems like the Time Attack style are the most popular! The gloss black looks awesome! I chose to go for the flat black look sine I have a black car and didn't want the wheels to stand out so much. Each's own. For you guys who are rubbing slightly. Just rip out the fender well plastics and that should cure most of your rubbing issues.

if these fit with s-tech springs they would fit with any other springs

Cosmic blue on yellow:
I wouldnt suggest removing your fender lining unless you want to get rocks in your door hinges and possibly trash your oil cooler on the passenger side. I am sure you could trim your linings though. On Koffebean's car it looks like the fronts stick out farther than the other cars on here. It must be an optical illusion because I really doubt that extra 3mm would be that noticeable.
