Rota P45R Wheel thread!!
#453
I just installed Works Springs (0.9" drop in front and back) on my car. In the rear, I have no wheel gap from the top of the tire to the fender. In the front, I have about a 0.8" wheel gap from the top of the tire to the fender. Does this sound right? If the drop is equal on both sides, why is the gap bigger in the front?...

Ok. So if the gap is about a 0.8" difference between the front and the back, should I just go back to stock springs in the rear since the drop is supposed to be about 0.9" to both sides with the new springs?

FYI, this thread is about the P45R wheel so start your own post about your issue... with this said I will try to help you, but otherwise take this to PM.
Works is known for building Evos that perform. Looks is secondary. The truth is you don't want the front as low as the back as it throws off your roll center. That and you would need stiffer springs to make up for the lowered static ride height. If you don't like the look and that's all you care about, get a different set of springs.

Just put on my P45Rs this weekend, dont have pics yet but here is some fitment info:
18x9.5 e30 255/35/18 --- Lowered on Megan springs (equivalent ride height of Tein S-Techs)
Front: 8mm spacer, we tried 5 first but it was taking paint of the caliper and would not rotate smoothly.
Rear: Even with 255/35s the rear rubs on harsh bumps and dips. Put two people back there and forget about it they rub on everything.
I am looking to get my rear fenders rolled this weekend. Also looking for hubcentric spacers, non-hubcentric spacer vibrate wayy to much on the highway.
Edit: I hope hubcentric spacers will help with the vibration on the hwy, however i am not sure.
