The "Truth" bumper is from a company called J-Speed.

I had looked into it a little while back.

JonDemand had the best price...

i never noticed that the truth and j speed bumpers were exactly the same, hell even the same picture.

$650.00 plus shipping for whoever is interested, as always we price match as well. j speed production times for frp parts have consistently been quoted in the 4-6 week time frame, add in 4-6 weeks average for ocean freight so the bumper should be in our warehouse in socal in 8-12 weeks...barring any production or customs delays. we've actually never sold any of their aero parts, only their performance products and roll cages so I don't have any first hand experience if they can meet their quoted time frame for the parts. they are very honest though and have always been upfront for example that a roll cage would be 4-6 months production time, which it has been each time.

we buy j speed direct so there is no middle man in Japan keeping the lead times as short as possible...but in the end there is only so much we can do.

that would be surprising if there were. we have one that was ordered for a customer that is on our container that arrived in port today. we should be picking it up probably early next week once the container clears customs. i'll be happy to take some pics of it to share with everyone.

in regards to lead times this bumper was ordered by our customer on 11/30/06, the wire transfer to Jun was done within a week from that time and it arrived in our warehouse approximately end of december. container was wrapped on 1/12/07 and left Japan on 1/21/07 after customs inspection and finalization of paperwork. so production time looked to be around 3-4 weeks. total delivery time from order being placed will probably end up being 10 weeks, which falls into our average lead time of 8-14 weeks. it would have been here 2 weeks ago if we got the bumper about 5 days earlier, so it could have only taken 8 weeks.

just fyi for everyone and how we do things, a container every 2 weeks no matter what...as you can see there is no way to do it any faster then us unless we do the shipping weekly, which is a goal of ours but won't be happening in the next 6 months.
