Yep. BBS actually told me they need to have 36 wheels made in order for them to produce any custom sizing. BBS of japan offers the 9 +35 and the 9 +20 and 10 +20 but ended up being 1500+ each wheel with shipping and customs.

lol. thanks for the kind words.
no, i didn't change the outter lips. im not sure if you can do that on lm's, even not all of the rs's can change outter lips.
basically what i did is, i reverse the face so it can mounted in the back of the lips, which will give you 7mm more lip and 7mm lower offset. plus the way you mounted will be basically subtract the offset on the outside only. so let's do the math here:
+20mm - 7mm - 7mm(lip)=+6mm offset.
i could be wrong here, but some guy at subaru forum did the same thing, and he actually measured it after reversed the face which is 13mm less offset than before.
thank you
yea yea. those are 18x9, just played with the offset.
thanks, i appreciate that
lol, i love ccw as well, but someone is rocking a set with perfect fitment, so i don't wanna be called copycat. both are decent wheels, i like the fact that ccw can make anything up to 16 inch wide.
i wish my car is not silver so i can have gold lm's
i still have to dial in the camber and get my fenders rolled. hopefully next week i guess?

Maybe instead of hellaflush the new trend is hellabulged? Personally, I think his car looks really good from the side angle, but being able to see the outer lip of the rim sticking out of the tire when you look at the car from the front is not appealing to me. Now if he could widen out the fenders, and put some wider tires on those same wheels, then now we're talking a sweet set-up!

I have to agree with a few people on this as it seems that people are just decreasing the offset and not the width of the wheel. The LMs are awesome but really to push them out that far is a bit much. The VIII and IX can easily eat 18x9 wheels with a +29. With base offsetof +20 and decreasing it further by 14 mm is a bit much. Don't get me wrong, I like pushing the recommended offset some but to just push the wheel out with a spacer to make them clear the caliper is kinda pointless and to me is no longer aggressive. This also forces you to run a stretched tire.
as for thinkin that 18x10.5 +18 is too low offset I say no since a 10.5 inch wheel is over 40 mm wider than a 9" wheel so you get more wheel and tire under the wheel well. This also allows for a more functional tire as opposed super stretched ones. Stretched tires reminds me of the VW community who are notorious for stretching out tires to fit wider wheels.
Too each his own but running aggressive wheels sticking way of the car looks a like poop. This is my opinion b4 anyone says anything....more than a few people feel this way too.
