Because with people that ship large or heavy things they can make up all kinds of bull**** RE packing and handling fees and what not.

is it real carbon fiber? the price is excellent, it seems the fitment looks good also . i might have to invest in one as well. oh and as for using paypal, i hate using them. they screwed me over on a sale i made saying the item was never shipped, for that reason i try to stay away from using paypal or purchasing items on ebay.

 

Yes its real carbon fiber. Even wraps around a good portion of the bottom of the lip.

As for paypal....haven't had any bad experiences with them yet.

 

Some of you guys have a glitch in your head that says you can't justify spending X amount on shipping. I understand it, it makes sense. That's a HUGE shipping cost. And yet you are ok with spending $325 for a lip with NO shipping. HELLO!!! You ARE spending $325. You just break it up in your head into item and shipping and convince yourself it's a ripoff somehow, when it's $325 either way.

After this economics lesson, I say I am getting this lip soon!!!

cool cool, i might just buy one when my income tax comes in, and people complaining about the price, you are all insane!!! $325 bucks for a full carbon lip that fits great is definetly a good buy, unless some of you prefer to spend near a grand for a ralliart one or 700 do luck.

 

one more question now, does this go over the stock lip or the stock lip must be removed? because on my rsx when i bought a carbon lip it went right over my stock lip,. just wondering

 

Completely replaces the stock lip.

 

haw about New York, New Jersey people buy them together, and save on shipping this way. Also contact the seller directly so we don't have to deal with the Ebay fee crap for further discount lol

 

I don't want to hijack this thread but I ordered the same lip from that vender and got it last Monday and it fits perfectly. I just had to trim the bottom part of the lip because of my Buschur Deluxe Intercooler. I then used Zip ties to keep the undertray intact with the lower carbon fiber Ebay lip. A small tip for those ordering this lip it is really handy if you have another person press down on the bumper and up on the lip to reduce the gap between them, when installing the 15 self tapping screws. I will start another thread when I get the pictures taken. I think it all looks great together with my Rexpeed carbon side spats and carbon mirror covers.

P.S. the 125 shipping price is well worth it it came in a huge box wrapped in bubble wrap, Styrofoam wrap and another plastic bag covering the whole lip.

i got the same lip on ebay as well...installed it on friday night...it fits pretty well and looks really nice as far as qualtiy goes

 

has anyone here had it for a longer amount of time? Just wondering how it holds up... great deal, might have to buy one

 

I think the piece is relatively new so im not sure if anyones had the chance to have it long enough to see how it holds up.
