Girodisc custom 2-piece rotors

I just wanted to share a pic w/ u all of my new rotors. Martin @Girodisc made a set of custom rotors apon my request. They are 2-piece front and back, drilled and slotted with red hats to match the stock calipers. Martin was awsome to work with and the rotors turned out nothing short of perfect. I will post another pic once they are on the car.

i hope u dont use ur evo like its meant to be used (road course), because those cross drilled rotors can and will crack under track use. just a warning cause thats an expensive mod just for "looks"

Nice!

I'd probably take those in slotted and dimpled instead of crossdrilled, but let us know if u actually track the car and if the discs do well in heavy track use. I'm sure I have a bunch of track rat friends who would love these.

??? A ton of race cars use drilled and slotted rotors, are you saying these rotors are weaker than other cross drilled or that cross drilled just don't last as long?

I don't know too much about rotors and stuff like that but is that dude know or does he know what he's doing? I mean as far like being dot approved and all that stuff. Cause you can't just pull designs out of you a.. you know what I mean?

you will not find any real race cars using drilled rotors, only slotted, or nothing at all.
