Got sick of the stock antenna hitting my wing sooo.... got myself a 2 incher. LOL. Yes, I don't need to "compensate" for anything! It's actually black but my dang camera's flash made it look gray. Thanks to Perrin Performance, you guys are awesome!

But it looks good dude! I kinda want to do that. I don't listen to the radio EVER so I kinda want to castrate the little guy altogether. Looks good though

The reception is exactly the same as the old antenna, so you're not compromising anything here. No crackling or anything, clear bass.

Again as mentioned on my post to another guy, your reception will be as clear as ever if you want to still listen to the radio. I was worried that it wouldn't fit just right on the IX MR when I ordered it but it fit PERFECTLY when I installed it (which took 5 seconds!), as if it's made specifically for it.

 

nicest one ive seen aside from completly shaving it off.
