as long as you had a good coat of wax on the car it wont be that hard to get off... now if you were lax in your waxing, better wear gloves cause your gonna do alot of rubbing if the ins. doesnt pay... but thats what full coverage is for..

When painting buildings, it is courtesy to let everyone with cars in the area know that they will be painting. Sorry to see this happen to your car.

Anyway, the same thing happened to my black Ford Focus before I got my Evo. It took a whole year for the paint to come off with regular washing, but it did all come off.

claybar, but not just any clay bar. You need a clay magic clay part, just buy this kit, and keep the car out of the sun as much as possible!

heres the link:
http://www.claymagic.net/ClayMagic-Products.htm

This is IMO the best clay you can buy. Ask real detailers like Mitchsubishi and i assure you he will agree. best of luck to you!

Water+clay bar for the paint.

and steel wool for the glass. make sure u DONT USE the steel wool on the mirrors or u gonna be buying new mirrors. clay will do the glass as well but takes a bit longer than the steel wool

Paint thinner is not recommended. As said above u could take a razor to the glass and there are some plastic razors for this job as well.

use a clay bar for the paint and windows...and use like a water spot remover to get them off windows as well..

i use hawaiian island magic..works great..get it at walmart for about $15...just use a little water and the HIM water spot remover and a pad...got to use some elbow grease but it will come right off...

good luck...

hey... just be glad it's not polyurathene foam. I was spraying a pole barn with a lotus in it, got all over the car cuz the boss didn't tell me about it. Well to make a long story short, the foam cooked the paint and even melted the fiberglass panels. Luckly the owner of the lotus was getting ready to restore it, so I was off the hook. But to the orignal post, a mild abrasive rubbing compound and then polish should get whatever a clay bar missed. And you'll have a shiney car.
