Bad day today!!!! overspray all over my car :(

So i washed my car yesterday, then when strait home and into the garage, then i attaked the wheels.

I go to work today, just like any other day. The day ends. I walk to my car, and drive off. I think to myself...." man my winshield is dirty as F*ck!!!, but I washed it yesterday.wtf? When i got home. i tried to wash it off. but its paint!!!!!! and its all over my car.

I drove back to work, and went over to the buisness next to us. and they had been spray painting huge metal beams all day. I dont know if its paint or primer.

Whats the best way to take care of this?? does this stuff come off? has it happened to anyone else?

Here are the pics. the flash makes it look worse than it really is.. and its all over the paint as well. The whole cars feels like sandpaper.

4 words.......... Clay bar and time.

It will come off but it is going to take A LONG time. I think it's Meguires that has the clay bar, you rub it on the paint and it pulls the rough impurities off. then fold it over and work it flat then rub some more. Then a good coat of wax when you're all done and your arms feel like spaghetti al-dente.

Hit up the business and let them know what they did and see if they're cool, if not call the cops and let them sort it out

Just a heads up this same thing happened to my wifes grand cherokee from a stupid company painting in the area. They had to pay $600 for a company to take a layer of the clear coat off to make it look new again. I would be pist because according to everyone on these forums our clear coats are crap compared to other cars. The shop that fixed the cherokee guaranteed this wouldn't hurt the paint as cars have several layers of clear coat. Still is crap though.

Good luck....but make them pay for this!!!
