The bar behind the seats is for the people in the back to hold on to!
But, seriously- nice seats. I especially like the mirror, "Objects in mirror appear to be losing." Where did you get that?

You don't have passengers in the back with a roll bar.
You don't street drive a fully caged car.
These are facts.
the bar behind the seats is to secure your harnesses to. the bar above that behind the driver is for a seatback support for non-fixed back seats.

Roll bar (loop) vs roll cage + seats and belts
I will be getting true racing seats (One piece seats that do no recline with a hole for the 5th anti-submarine belt.) and 5 or 6-point cam-lock belts. I will secure the shoulder harnesses to the rear seat belt mounts with some kind of buckle. I will also retain the stock 3-point seatbelts for daily use.
My questions is what to use for rollover protection. A harness bar provides a place to mount the shoulder harnesses to, but provides NO rollover protection. 4,5 or 6-point harness are not safe to use without some kind of rollover protection. I think a half or full cage is the untimate solution but not practical for me. I sill have ocassional back seat passengers.
Does someone make a roll bar for the EVO?
Next to my shop there is a shop which custom builds Baja 1000 race cars and I can have him custom make me a roll bar but why reinvent the wheel if one already exists.
Maybe I need to design a roll bar for the EVo that still allows use of the back seats...
Lets hear what you have to offer...
