Even authentic rgII's (i know you have svn's and not boosts), which have a slightly lower offset, can run 255 35 w/o rubbing. I wonder...

Even the silver evo with P45R's 18x9.5 +30 is running 265/35 and only claims that there is "(little rubbing)"
Ya, can someone please clarify this because I dont want to be rubbing with a 245 tire -_-

if you buy a 245 35 you wont rub. if you run a 245 40 you will rub on the rear with a 30 offset( only if you are lowered) minor fender rolling is need to fix this. like i said earlier, i am running the 255-35-18 on the boost 18x9 +30 lowered on coilovers and i am rubbing when i hit some good bumps.(only on the rear is rubbing) to fit a 255 or 245 40 you would want to run a 35 offset wheel.

Well if it's only minor fender rolling I might go with a 245/40 then thanks for clarifying~

so, you can run a 255/35 and not rub? The difference between a 255/40 and 255/35 is only a ~1/2inch on the side wall. Why did you go with a 40 instead of a 35?

im running the 35 and i am rubbing on bumps. we put on a 40 series tire and it was worse so i just decided to go 255 35. only goin to take minor rolling of the fender to fix the rubbing
* i edited the above post,i accidently put 40, the whole typing 40 35 40 35 over and over messed me up sorry lol*

i have heard that swifts really dont drop you to low, so with a 245-40 you should be okay. zoeb told me when i bought the wheels i might have rubbing issues on a lowered evo and he was right. just depends on how low your evo is
