Vinyl red tape on wheel lip

On the s2k forum I remember seeing a few people use vinyl tape to mimic the time attack style red lip. I did a search on here but only found people who had painted the lip. The tape is easily found on ebay... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/3m-Sc...spagenameZWD1V

Let me know if anyone has done this... if not, I guess I'll give it a shot

This would only be on my winter stockers... It seems like a more reversible and harder to screw up option than painting.

Whats nice about this is you can change your mind, or heaven forbid your preference on a particular day.

You can just look for it at your nearest autozone.

go to autozone or pep boys and get a red pinstrip kit for less then $5. They come in different widths and if you dont like it it comes off super easy...I did it on my VIII's stockers after I painted them black

Yeah, and what to do at the seam, I'm guessing hide it behind the valve stem?

no need to fold, it curves nicely when its heated up.

you can just overlay the seam on top of the starting point, you cant even tell
