First Generation Evo (pics)
Thought I'd post up some new pics of my first generation Evo. I got it lowered slightly today and replaced the factory white Oz wheels (I had painted gold for kicks to see what it would look like) and threw on some new 17 inch wheels. For those of you that never saw my thread when I first joined the forum in the "newbies section", the car is a right hand drive straight out of Japan and I got it with a few mods/toys already in it from hard plumbed turbo and intercooler plumbing, computer work, cusco dif and so forth. I plan to change the color on the car as soon as I can decide on a color and do a few more things to set it a part from the rest. The fact that this was the first set of Evo's ever built, I hope to hold on to it and keep it as a collectors item
I'll post more pics as I make changes...

Thanks for all of the positive feedback The paint job is pretty nice minus a few spots that could use touching up, but luckily no dents. The problem is, it is a nightmare to keep clean here! The car is actually a green color, but you can only see it if it is sitting in the right angle with the sun shinning on it or if you look at it wearing polorized lens. Otherwise, the car looks black. I've noticed the majority of you guys here have the newer models I guess due to the fact not very many states will allow you to import these cars right out of Japan, but here's what the interior looked like back then...They have come a long way, but this car was kept very nice inside I have to admit and has all the original recaro seats etc with no tears or stains...This shot is looking in from the backseat
Oh...BTW, the car has an EVO III body kit on it

Thanks again on the nice comments
LOL!!! Yeah, it works in our favor here as we drive on the left hand side of the road so you can see what is coming (if you want to pass the slow poke infront of you in the Subaru ) without having to swing wide to see! Plus, it only takes a second to get pass them
ROFL!! I was you guys here that figured it all out for me because I thought I had an EVO III seeing it on the body kit and the shipping papers were wrong, but the papers were right and I was wrong
Here's a shot under the hood...Only thing that bothers me is the heat shield that I guess rusted out a bit sitting in all that salt air. Most all of the JDM cars that are imported here have the same issue. I thought about replacing it, but I plan to get the tubular headers so we'll see...Also, I damaged the factory re-circulating BOV messing around and so I had to pop on one that dumps into the atmosphere until I can import another re-circulating BOV. The car surprisingly runs fine, idles perfectly and feels just as good, but still plan to change it
I wish mine was RHD
awsome... it does look black. I would never guess it is green. Awsome car. I was curious about the kit. haha.
