some of simon's data
The car ran 7 times before I split the gearbox casing right along the front, typically this stopped me engaging 4th on my fastest half track run so far......nearly an 8 but not quite!
Runs as below;
1) 9.55 @ 157.31 Mph (Toyo 18" R888)
2) 9.53 @ 155.06 Mph (Toyo 18" R888)
3) 9.70 @ 159.16 Mph (Nitto 17" 555R)
4) 9.53 @ 159.51 Mph (Nitto 17" 555R)
5) 9.81 @ 146.45 Mph (Nitto 17" 555R)
6) 9.26 @ 160.09 Mph (Nitto 17" 555R)
7) 9.48 @ 149.00 Mph (Nitto 17" 555R)
This was on a totally unprepped track, I must say the new surface at Santa Pod is awesome.........be careful this season when compared to last if its your first time there......bye bye drivetrain!
We also had the VBox connected for all runs which from memory recorded the below times;
0-60 Mph: 2.5 Secs
0-100Mph: 4.3 Secs
0-150Mph: 8.2 Secs
All pretty good considering I had no 5th gear and ideally need to shift to it, when this is fixed am hoping for 163Mph+ terminals and 8's.
The actual data for the best run is as below also;
60 Ft: 1.7077 Sec
330 Ft: 4.2697 Sec
1/8 ET: 6.2077 Sec
1/8 Mph: 128.54 Mph
1000' ET: 7.8207 Sec
1/4 ET: 9.2688 Sec
1/4 Mph: 160.09 Mph
We have footage of all runs from inside and out which Ady is busy editing right now. Yes you have probably guessed I am pretty chuffed at todays results!
