i did this too yesterday. at first the throttle was very rough (though no sticking) and i was considering reverting back to stock. then i did some adjustment and it did improve. im gonna try it for another week or so making small adjustments to the cable.

FYI for anyone's looking to do this. with some adjustment, it will be as smooth as stock. my issue was the first bend coming out of the firewall had to be nice and smooth.
