Carbon Fiber REAR Diffuser

Carbon Fiber REAR Diffuser
Im currently working with a company outside the U.S to create a Carbon Fiber (Aggresive look & Functional) Rear Diffuser for the Evo.
The first one Im trying to create (off of their base designs) is for the CWEST rear bumper setup...
Im having a problem identifying mounting points
Anyone has any suggestions?
It doesnt matter if you have the CWEST rear or not....
Especially those running diffusers already
thanks in advance
Here is a pic
of their basic diffuser

Are you going to extend the ends of it to fill the bumper?
This one looks like there would still be room on the sides to allow to air to get trapped in there.

I am also interested to see how this turns out. I want to do some kind of diffuser for the rear but have not been able to decide on one based on the current offerings.
I agree with Frenchy that it would be most effective if it covered the whole width of the bumper. The Voltex one does this well but IIRC is just smooth/flat on the bottom. I don't know what ones like this use for mounting but it might also work for what you are doing.

Without a pic of the undercariage of the vehicle, it's hard to visualize how far it extends under the car to even give you any suggestions. Why not follow it up to behind the license plate and bolt it there for the back. I replaced my exhaust so the old rear stock exhaust hanger might be another point to attatch to. Make longer bolts where the bumper attatches to the rear quarters and try to bolt them there if it stretches all the way accross. I'd even drill and tap a hole in the frame on each side if need be.

Thanks for the input... more please
I am planning to take it all the way to the license plate... no gaps
I want to be able to fill the whole bumper area... Im also trying to figure out how to fit with the exhaust... lower exhaust hangers?
The picture just shows a flat diffuser, thats just the basic one they make...
There is going to be a rear curved lip to the center part of the bumper...
the vane/fins placement are adjustble
This weekend I will be doing the final measurments, taking pics of the rear undercarrige to help identify all possible mounting points and exhaust postion etc.
If everything goes as planned and everyone stays on scheduled with delivering of parts and fabrication.... I will give you soon, one of the HOTEST Evos...
hopefully no more roadblocks
standby!

Vishnu also produced one with similar mounting points but it was a sinlge piece that wrapped up and over the muffler can with a hole in it to allow the exhaust hanger to stick through. THis diffuser can be found on their website.
Good luck!
