Thanks for the kind words. I hate having to wait to do my own car, but I don;t get paid to detail my car and right now I've got mods to pay for.

is this in the good detailers handbook?

i appreciate that you have detailed for years, but i totally disagree. you're not worried about burning moldings, it's tougher to remove product from moldings than it is to put tape on them.

All I can say is wow...so when are you going to make road trips. Traveling Tuners make good money, well in this case, traveling detailer....lol. Something for you to think about.

IF you could learn to use proper grammar in your posts maybe I'd have more respect. But I've already lost respect in the fact of you calling taping an amature thing....you CANNOT do the paint above the windows properly WITHOUT taping; honestly, how can you call a precuationary measure "amature"? It's like leaving a party **** drunk for a one night stand and NOT having a condom....do you want to be the father who'll be in a rediculous situation (and amount of debt) when you did not want any part of it? I don't want kids yet, or to be the one paying for the replacement of burned/stained trim.

You probably worked at a "detail shop" or finishing program for UTI and used only rotary buffers...which leave halograms and more swirls than they take out! A rotary was also the cause of a trim BURN on a Honda S2000 I properly detail just last weekend. I advised the owner to go to the dealership that did the harm to ask for a warranty replacement and just that has occured.

Cut? Elaborate. Polishing was enough to remove all the swirls and show an absolutely perfect finish. "Cutting" (im sure you are reffering to heavy compounding) would've removed a lot more clear coat than necessary...now that's an amature mistake they taught you, Einstein.

I polished with foam pads. If you have anymore bogus comments to make go ahead; you'll only make yourself out to be more of the un-professional character that you are.

If enough people could come together in one area for me to come out and pay for gas, time driving, lodging, food, and the full details, then I'd consider it...but for now I'm good with working in the Chicagoland area with most clients driving to me .
