Thanks everyone for the great feedback! I'm glad that my not-so-modded Evo still draws some applause :-D

I guess I never really got around to vouching for the place that did my clear bra install until now... Sid Did It in Brookfield, WI clearly (hehe, a pun) does an AMAZING job with 3M Clear Bra installs and has second-to-none customer service. I got it installed back in September 2006 when I bought the car and told them I'd be coming from Neenah (about 80 miles away) so it would take me anywhere from 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours to get there due to traffic. They said "that's fine, we have a car to do before yours" I got there about 20 minutes earlier than expected and they were both there anxiously awaiting working on my car. After we sorted out the details, my girlfriend and I got a ride to Mayfair Mall so we had something to do while they were working hard. The install took about 2 hours if I remember correctly... Overall, I'm EXTREMELY pleased with their service and with how amazing the clear bra looks and I can't wait to have them install a clear bra on every car I get in the future!

Yeah, I like the stock IX wheels, but not as much as the SE BBS wheels... needless to say, the stockers have Blizzaks on 'em so they get to endure road salt/ sand throughout the winters while the BBS's get to sit around and look gorgeous

Car looks good. Makes me miss my EB 05. You could go cheap on mods and still come out with great performance. $100 mbc and $50 flash will really wake the car up

The car looks really good! I think it's a good idea to hold off on mods until you pay it off! I may adopt that. When you get the urge to buy a mod, make an extra carpayment!

Back in late March/ early April I did the following:
-wash, clay, Sonus SFX3 polish, then some Zaino:
day 1: Z-AIO, Z5pro (ZFX'd), Z6, Z5pro (ZFX'd), Z6
about a week later: wash, dry, Z5pro (ZFX'd), Z6, Z2pro (ZFX'd), Z6, Z2pro (ZFX'd), Z8

I haven't added any Zaino to the paint besides Z6/Z8 since early April. Here's the process pre-photo shoot:
-Optimum No Rinse Wash (ONR)
-wheels/ tires cleaned with Quick Detailer strength ONR
-tires dressed with Armor All
-glass cleaned with QD strength ONR
-Z8 wipedown

FWIW, I personally believe you'll get 80-90% as good of results by sticking with "just" Z-AIO and then Z-CS accompanied with Z-8 after every couple washes... Zaino sells those three items together for like $80 which is an AMAZING deal considering those 3 bottles *should* last you at least 3 years if you apply it as thin as Zaino is meant to be.

Lol, yeah... I bought the car in September w/ $28k financed.. I'm now down to $18k. I plan to owe $5k a year from now and pay it off by January 2009.

You would never suspect it by just casually talking to me, but I really, REALLY hate debt and can't stand the thought of being hosed on interest accruing throughout a full 60 month term... Between paying waaaaaay more than the minimum payment each month, paying it off early, and re-financing to a better interest rate back in March, my calculations show that I will pay ~$5k less in interest than the original loan agreement :-D $5k in interest saved = LOTS of mod money I can spend later on :-D

Beautiful car.

How is the plate attached to your bumper? From what I can see, it just looks like zip ties? Since I don't want to drill into the bumper, I may have to go that route.
