Cool to see the evolution of your Evolution!

When I originally read the thread title, I was expecting to see the upgrade path of an Evo with $100k invested …

Just curious.

I drive my car a lot commuting 60+ miles a day and I just had my 60K mile service that took care of the timing belt among other thing. I've had no issues at all with my car other that typical wear similar to what you mentioned. very similar in fact. I'm on my 3rd set of tires, just replaced the windshield, still on stock clutch, finally replaced the brake pads with Hawks about 6K miles ago.

I have kept my car totally stock except for what's in my sig. and it has never seen the track. The big reason I haven't modded yet is because when I got my car it was when Mitsubishi was offering the 10yr/100K mile warranty so I have that. Only thing I had to use the warranty on was having my wing replaced/repaired. So far so good. I know a lot of people will never let the dealership touch their cars, and many times that's understandable. But I have had the dealer do the scheduled service on mine every 5K miles. That is part of keeping my 100K mile warranty and I figure with the amount of driving I do it will be helpful if something goes wrong.

Bottom line is that without extensive mods and proper scheduled maintenance the evo is a very reliable car. I've been pleased so far.

And lastly, I LOVE the wheels. Those are on my wish list and I'm stashing away pennies so I can get a set.

Congrats

Awesome man! I've never driven a car that many miles and I've owned my gst for 8 years. Hope you have it for a 100k more. Buy a tank of gas for her she looks thirsty !

I think the Car looked great until you added that aftermarket spoiler. Other than that great looking car that still looks good at 100K miles.

What a great thread -- love the historical pictures. Having just hit the 1K mile mark, I love these reports from high mileage owners, especially when they confirm what a highly reliable car the evo is, if taken care of. Thanks
