I messed up a few times due to gloss black paint not working out for me, or things falling on paint. But the DIY on this thread is prety much what I did except I didnt do the red lip.

FYI NEVER! spray Paint remover on Painted Rims. I did after I messed up one of the rims. Freakin paint remover went through the paint, down to the rim. So to even it out I stripped the rim. Yeah i know, what an idiot. But whatever, I got teh job done. Stockie looked good stripped. Only the face is polished, sides are not.

hahah dude when i painted my rims and i had stripped most of the stock paint off and got down to the metal.. i almost just kept it looking like a brushed alum...look.. it didnt look bad on the stock rim...

i think once the paint falls all off.. i just may do that..
