It's official!
Just got home from a 2000 mile road trip.
Here's some pictures from when we stopped to see my grandparent's winter home in Yuma, AZ not long after I took delivery from a used car dealer near LA.
This thing is so much better than the STi I didn't even miss the cruise control.
It's not in perfect shape but it's only got 15k miles on it (now) and the stuff is easily fixed. The worst part was Super Autobacs not putting the plastic under tray on correctly after they did an oil change and having it pop down and get nearly worn away on the freeway to Yuma Thank goodness I have a Beatrush under tray on order already and Super Autobacs is sending me a replacement.
Lots of plans for this bad boy, keep an eye out
BTW, where's a good place to get a front emblem and a JDM EvolutionMR rear trunk badge? Is there any place to buy red front emblems?

Looks great! White FTW! Some JDM 7 tails and you'll be in business!
I guess I could help out a fellow OTter. Ebay's always a natural choice for emblems, and is almost always cheaper than vendors. I'd definitely search the vendor forums on here and compare though.
I'm not sure why they had to remove the undertray to change the oil. Both the oil pan and oil filter are easily accessable just sliding under there with the car on ramps. Make sure to do it yourself from now on.

congrats on the new wheels! white is definitely a good color choice.
try this website for badges & emblems:http://www.lancershop.com/customer/home.php?cat=49
although i'm sure you could find them around here for a little cheaper.

Nice man, i am looking to make the switch as well. Your subies were sick though!
Whyd you go MR over the gsr/se. I still can't decide.
How hard was it to find?
Sorry for all the questions, i am looking around too.

Hahahaha it's far FAR from clean in those pictures It's got about 2000 miles worth of bugs on the front right now I really hate driving through Nevada for that reason
I went with the MR 'cause I needed the 6-spd and I liked the other advantages. As far as hard to find, I had to drive 2000 miles to get the one I wanted, and it was the closest one There are very few white MRs in the country!!
I was considering a MR SE 'cause of the red trimmed seats but I couldn't get one in white
Honestly, I'm disappointed I didn't check out the Evo sooner. I always avoided them 'cause I was a "Subie Guy" though I respected the Evo since it was my first love of this type of car, but the Subaru came first so that's what I was "in to". The Evo stock for stock is sooo much better than the STi it's not even funny. The power is a tiny bit lacking in the low end, but at the top end thanks to the MIVEC it just flies. And the handling is MUCH better than a stock STi. I'm very impressed.
