wax the headlights?

I'm getting ready to wax the Evo and was wondering if I should apply wax to the head and rear lights? Does the wax shine the plastic or dull it?

you can wax everything. i do. makes the bugs easier to get off, and it's never hurt a lens before.

I also wax everything except the weather stripping. Waxing the windows is great because it attracts less debris. Waxing the plastic is nice also because it makes it look cleaner.

That stuff is like really fine compound and I would not use it everytime I wax my car. If you headlight was dull or foggy the plastix would take that layer off.

I wax windows and headlight and tail light lens. What kind of plastic do you use wax on? I've had bad experience using wax on non clear plastic in the past so I'm hesitant to use it on anything other than lens.

good luck getting them apart and back together. If you manage to do it, they will probably fog like crazy. See the ricer foggy headlights/tailights? That is because they are poorly made and sealed.

Isn't that the same procedure as everyone that paints their headlights? Are they all fogged?

it is the same procedure used to paint the headlights. as long as you take your time, follow the threads in the how to section, and use a good sealant, you wont have any problems.
