Pics from Lime Rock 08/27/2007
sorry for so many pics, but wanted to share lol... My best time was 107.14 .. Was running on stock brake pads, so had to take it easy while braking flying into corners, but I know I could have taken the last 2 corners much faster than I did.. First time I was running Lime Rock, but I loved every minute of it, ehhh except 2 black flags

was this a corvair club event ? I ran with them probably 15 years ago @ lime rock in my '89 mirage turbo . My co-driver that day was a fairly accomplished auto-xer and hillclimber . out of 35+ corvairs and 10 non corvairs he pushed my little pocket rocket to a 3rd fast time of the day .behind a gtu full race corvair and a nasty v8 'cuda . If I remember correctly I finished just outside the top ten as a rookie (with one black flag for spinning into the muck outside of turn one). I know that's not that impressive , their just corvairs after all . anyways I hope you had a blast , it's a great track .

LRP is definitely one of my favorites tracks in Northeast. The track has a real nice rhythm to it. Was this a SCDA event? Never seen so many evos at the tracks. I was going attend this event, but gave up for 2 day Watkins Glen events next week. Best of luck out there!

This makes me really miss both my evo and limerock.
How did you take big bend? Single or double apex?
Very fun track. I've got a video of a silver evo doing a full 180 right on the uphill (before the classic straight).

hey, corvairs were the hot car. cheap, turbocharged, lightweight.
that is the reason Ralph said they rolled so much, kids were beating the heck out of them. before the days of radial tires.
that is a sweet looking track, the southern cali guys must be freaking out at that greenery.
