painted pinsripe removal

i read that you can remove painted painted pin stripes with easy off oven cleaner. is this safe for our weak evo paint.

i would not recomend that on any paint... could be wrong, but certain chemicals were not made for pain. anyone else?

maybe wet sand? try med reducer..

I did it when I bought my new TL a few months back after I traded in my Evo. It came with gold and silver stripes painted on the side. You have to segment the Ease-Off bit by bit and tape off everything except the stripes. Spray it on, and wait about 30 seconds and then wipe it off quickly. Once you are done with everything I would put on at least 2 fresh coats of wax and everything should be gravy. Don't bother messing with anything else such as nail polish remover as it would only cause issues.
