evolife, that looks great - where did you get that done? is the guy around here (it looks like we got our evos from the same dealer)? do you know if its possible to get the lenses off the housing so you can do the inside or does it need to be done from the outside?

I've had the lights off the car, you have to paint the outside. It's sealed.

I'd like to see them smoked out real dark... then when the lights are on, you see the lights shining through...

sorry guys just woke up.. i can get them done for you if you want to they cost me 100 to have them done. i bought a extra set of stock lights, but if anyone wants them done let me know ill have my other set done and we can do a exchange thing so you have your lights down a day maybe two. as far as the coating it not just paint i was told it has some special hardener so the coating doesnt flake off. at first i though they where going to be bad like is most of the tail light that are painted but these are so nice. i could not see paying that much for EVO VII lamps. so if you guys want to exchange them i can get a set done at a time or you can send me yours take about 2 days turn around. i have had a lot of people tell me they look factory..

ill try and come to the meet on sunday if i get the hall pass

evolife, that very well could have been me, I was at torrance mitsubishi like 12 times before I actually bought the car and talked to a few people who were also looking to get one. I'll be at the meet tomorrow, I wanna get a closeup look at those lights.

I have a set of Altezzas that I took off within the first 5 mins of owning the car. If any of you want to experiment and still have a backup set of brand new lights, make me an offer on my Altezzas (PM me).
