Why didn't you just re-clear them? There is about a thousand treads and post on here from other members that have done this already.

if you clear coat the sticker a bunch of coats i think your ok holding up wise. so spray the caliper the color, lay the paint couple coats, dry spray dry spray, lay sticker down clear as many times as you feel. the sticker will hold good. looks awesome good job

Damn looks great. I'd like to see you post up in 30-60 days on how its holding up; it'd be a great reference for the forums.

Exactly what we did. I think it will stay on without any problems but I will keep you guys updated with more pictures in a month or two

What did you do to sand the calipers? What grit/process did you follow?

We sandblasted the calipers, than we manually sanded them with 220 Grit. After manually sanding them, we threw them right back into the sandblaster.

Looks like you painted the bleed valve and the cap too .

We Cleaned those up before bleeding the brakes.

So right after sandblasting the 2nd time, you applied the paint?

Another Question

Did you have access to someone's sandblaster? I have no idea where I could get my hands on one of those.

After the second sandblasting, cleaned it up a bit with a rag...Than applied the paint.

And yes we used a blaster at the shop!
