Sound deadening removed interiors
Post up a pic of your stripped down, sound deadening removed interiors - Dang RS's need not apply - we all know you aint got it to start with. I'd like to see how cleanly it comes off rear humps and driver and passenger floorwell up front where the joint compound is making it hell.
Thanks!
Thanks!

We are doing a radical gutterectomy procedure on the 04 EVo 8 SSL since it will be a track ***** if anything - I can post pics, but will get flamed. I am doing this as the car is pretty rough and I got it for a great price. It has lived 3 years in gravel etc, it is no showcar and even has some rust already. The main idea is to build a trackwhore and every little bit counts. I am doing this since its a challenge and simply because I can. So, spare me the flaming.
- I am removing all the sound deadening including the big rug behind the firewall which sucks azz to do as you have to drop steering column and remove dash reinforcement beam and then the heater core and blower motor.
- I am also eliminating SRS, stereo, antenna, sunroof, rear wiper motor, all interior panels, set belts.
- I am eliminating power mirrors, windows, locks, mirrors etc.
Here is the hardest part which is being the biggest challenge - Modifying the main interior harness. This thing weighs a lot, I tell you.
My friend and I stared at it for a while and then slowly started snipping away after double-checking. The ECU is going to be crazy mad when everything goes back together.
I will post pics of some of the steps - we get too busy getting to work and forget to take pics.
I wanted to see what people had done to theirs, but we'll see what happens

I wanted to try the dry ice method but was too impatient. I heated it up with a 500watt light and scrapped it off... ugly but effective.
I put the carpet back in with all the padding stuff removed.
Well crap... thought I had more pics
