those seats are filthy. both my early evos arrived with seats looking like that. I swear asian people are very oily. alcantara is a fancy name for microsuede or microfiber. Its the most durable easy to clean material on the market. get some detergent and scrub them seats and pressure wash them in the sun. let dry so no water drips back on the material. you will be amazed at how clean they come.

I've actually been in an Evo VII & VIII and it's completely different. Reason being the III is alot lighter than the VII's & VIII's. handling wise, i think the III handling isnt as good as the VII's & VIII's because of the AYC and the sport ABS systems. but overall the Evo III is quite fun to drive actually.
