Back when I was planning on getting an VIII, not a IX, I always told myself I would have replacements (JDM VIIs) waiting before I brought the car home. I quite like the stock IX lights, though. Great choice.

 

they look good, i want to black mine out too. now you need to do the headlights and you'll be set. grats on the purchase

 

Yeah, those are IX tails, and they look a ton better, but JDM MR tails look much different.

 

But if he bought them from a guy that had a IX MR, then they technically are MR tails..... hmmm....

 

HAHA thats what i thought, am i wrong? but yeah im actually working on blacking out the headlights right now, then after winter im going to put everything else on :-D!!!!!

 

Nah, the IX MR has regular IX tails, so that theory is shot. It's like referring to the stock VIII BOV on an MR as an MR BOV. In fact, many people got that wrong and thought the "MR BOV" was different on 05 MRs, when in fact it was the same.

I hope in this case, the OP didn't think he was actually buying MR tails...

The tail lights looks good but I think you can do more stuff to your evo so that it looks sexier. =)
