My old Acura RSX Type-S had some short, well-molded mudflaps that I had included when I bought the car. I wish they made something similar for the Evo.

I'll see if I can find a pic of them . . .

Here they are . . .

I'm wishing they had some mudflaps that are more "reserved", like these . . .

Been running the Rally Armor flaps for a year now and I live in over here in California. Theres alot of rocks and crap on the road and the flaps have mos def save it from more than a few chips.

I wanted the Ralliart ones too but Rally Armor was the best bang for the buck. If you can find someone who has a used set already buy it off them and gather the screws and whatnot at your local hardware store. I bought my RallyArmor flaps for $20 bucks and nuts and bolts for $10. So it doesnt need to be too expensive.

Yeah my Eclipse has similar ones that I'm very happy with. I've looked for similar ones high and low for my Evo but no luck The available mudflaps for the evo look like cut sheets of flat plastic and a home depot special at best. If I was a rally driver and needed them all the time, function would easily win out over form. Since I'm not and only occasionally would make real use of them, I'll pass unless something more aesthetically pleasing (to me) comes along. The rally armor and the like get the job done but look like ****.

I put ralliarmor flaps on my week old evo. After a year of havin them on I must say they keep ur car so clean. And they save ur sideskirts from rocks! Worth the money and they add to the whole rally car image.

Other cars can get factory "splash guards" that are more sculpted than the mud flap style that only seems to be available on the Evo.

They even come in the body colours, like this:

For all those companies out there making goofy urethane body kits, none of them have thought to make some nice looking pieces like this for the Evo?
